Cinetig specialises in creating high quality award-winning films through close collaboration with communities, schools and youth groups throughout Wales and the UK. Since 1998 Cinetig has produced over fifty films with young people, allowing their voices to be expressed through an exploration of their history, culture and identity.
Cinetig has established a reputation for helping young people discover their cultural heritage, and has made films in partnership with museums and other institutions. Cinetig has received project funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, First Light Movies, the Arts Council of Wales, Communities First and The Film Agency for Wales.
Cinetig’s educational films have won awards from national and international festivals including:
